Great review. I used to be into an arcade game called 1000 Mile Rally (may have a different name elsewhere) and this is definitely reminding me of it based on video footage. If you're familiar with that game would you say that this one feels similar as far as controls go?

I've just started with this game, and I know it has had some updates. When you started, were there any of the stands where you could place an item, and it would give you a higher chance to spawn it? This way you could for example get more floor tiles of a certain type? And I suppose the plants make sense it is called "Garden" Galaxy, but I have to admit that I've sold most of mine apart from meadow-style flowers 😅

yeah, just jumping doesnt sound too appealing; a counter to any gameplay would be my ideal. i was thinking 'a good intro to platform/rhythm games' but that's why mario rhythm heaven exists for me. the visual and camera style makes it stand out for me, though

2,3,5,9 and 12 3 gives me DOS-Aladdin vibes. If they add more traversing handles, like branches to shoot from would be nice. 5 Isometric shooters are always a favourite if done right. Dead Nation on the Vita. Alien Swarm - prototype version (Unreal Engine Competition submission) still lives in my memory, RUIN, FURI also in my classic titles 9 sprite work looks solid. Hopefully their RNG-level maker code is sorted out 12 Punch Out inspired titles, I look for character design mostly more than the gameplay. Ha

I thought this was the cringiest game I've ever played. I liked the music in some times, but the story was so cliche and boring, I couldn't connect to any of the characters and the need to say fuck in every second word was absolutely unnecessary. You also need to complete the 5th chapter three times in order to get the platinum, and it's tiring and the longest one. Would not recommend.

3, 6 and 9 look solid, but I keep buying these games only to have them in the backlog. I'm still to play more Wipeout Omega, Art of Rally is nearly all unlocked, Super Night Rider is still a favorite short racing. And all the racers on the Switch 😂 So many good games, and I just hope these studios get this generations attention and get inspired to make future games

A big problem with the game is that the balancing wasn't made for competitive player. In 10+- mini-games, its fairly easy to get all perfect. I've seen a 12 way tie for first. I've seen multiple people get 100% accuracy and lose because they didn't grab a bonus. Another thing is ping issues. Some people tried to change server to get more players, but some game would become way harder or impossible to win. The number i'll say seem small but can decide on qualifying or not for a top player lobby. The ring your average is .500 slower with perfect movement. The space race and That 70s race your last input get registered later and an overall .8 sec can be lost. These are automatically disqualification on a lobby where everyone would be perfect and have better ping than you. And finally the games aren't random. In stereo gaga, a costume will always have the same pattern. Teacher round 1, 10 notes. Luchador Frankenstein Robot round 6, 16,8,16 Faster than sound has 3 pattern for each item which people started to memorize. etc. After party can last up to 41 minute for some reason and then the server crash. All of these issues were brought up less than 1 month after the game release and nothing was done about it. This lead to a lots of good player to stop playing the game as they had already maxed out/ memorized everything there was to do.
